Tomac Ottantanove 7 Eleven NOS
This beautiful frame was named 1989 in Italian, ottantanove. That year John Tomac started in the 7/11 Pro Cycling Team, the team we all know from those days. That is why he choose to paint this frame as the original Eddy Merckx bikes ridden at that time.
About Tomac
John Tomac was, besides road cycling, even more famous in mountainbiking. In several World Championships he won gold and silver medals. For that he is one of the few cyclists in the MTB Hall of Fame. After cycling in the 7/11 team he cycled for another year in the Motorola team. Later on he started manufacturing bikes and that is where this frame comes from.
- The frame has 2 smalll paintchips on the rear fork, see pictures
