Gios Torino Professional rare black anodized Campagnolo Super Record
The Gios Torino Professional was first released in 1983, was born from a successful collaboration with the great Roger De Vlaeminck of the Team Gios Torino-Clement.
Roger De Vlaeminck (nicknamed as Mr. Paris–Roubaix) rode the Paris–Roubaix on 14 occasions, winning four times in 1972, 1974,1975, and 1977.
The Gios Professional produced only a short time between 1983 and 1986, was an improvement of the previous Gios Super Record.
It had a number of technically advanced features such as:
- An internally routed waterproof brake cable.
- An aerodynamic sloping fork crown.
- A one piece BB shell with an incorporated bridge.
- An investment cast seat lug with incorporated binder block.
Unlike most Gios models which were produced in the blue the professional was offered in different colours notably, white, black and silver. Our Professional has a white paint and a complete Campagnolo Super Record groupset with original very rare Campagnolo Super Record black adonized parts.
The bike is in good used condition and has no dents, cracks and is straight. All parts are period specific.
